Office Depot Return / Refund / Exchange Policies

Synopsis

Customer customers should approach purchases at Office Depot with caution. While the company suggests that they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, the first paragraph states that they have the right to refuse any return for any reason.

Policy Statement

100% Satisfaction Guarantee:

All returns and exchanges must be in original condition and include all accessories. Office Depot reserves the right to deny any return or exchange and may request identification as a condition of your return or exchange.

Office Supplies:

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase of supplies, you can return it for a full refund, exchange or credit within 30 days of purchase with your original receipt, packing slip or email confirmation (“Original Receipt”) to any of our stores. For delivery orders call 800.GO.DEPOT (800.463.3768) to arrange free pick up.

Returns of supplies without an Original Receipt require valid government identification. Supplies still active in our computer system will be refunded in the form of an Office Depot Merchandise Card in an amount equal to the lowest retail price during the 90 days preceding the return. If that amount is under $10, however, we will refund in cash.

Technology & Furniture – 14 Day Return Policy:

Your Original Receipt is required for all returns or exchanges of technology and furniture.

Technology products may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase with Original Receipt, in original packaging and with UPC code intact. If product box is opened, we will offer an exchange only. A 15% Restocking Fee will be applied if box is missing any components. This applies to all technology products including, without limitation: Computers, Monitors, Cameras, Camcorders, Projectors, GPS, Printers, Copiers, Faxes, Shredders, Telephones, Wireless Technology, MP3s, TVs, DVD Players, Media, Hard Drives, Peripherals, Accessories and Software. Opened software may be exchanged for the same item only. Please remove all personal data from returned/exchanged product. Office Depot is not responsible for any personal data left in or on a returned/exchanged product. Furniture in new condition, unassembled, in original packaging, with Original Receipt and with UPC code intact may be returned within 14 days of purchase.

 Special Order/Custom Items and Manufacturer Direct items cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged upon receipt. Tech Depot Services are non-refundable once services have been performed. Pre-Paid Cards such as Gift Cards and Phone Cards are non-refundable, and cannot be returned or used to purchase other gift cards. Special terms and conditions are included with each card.

Technology products sold by Tech Depot are subject to Tech Depot return policies and a Return Authorization must be requested in advance. Please call 1-800-721-8344 or consult the policy at Tech Depot General Policies. Merchandise may NOT be returned to an Office Depot Retail Store or picked up by our Delivery Driver Network.
